This is one of the most annoying defects in a photo. I took this picture from a bridge over a canal in Venice. The day was sunny with few clouds. After I got home and put the image up on my computer, I saw this!!!. This defect is called a blown-out sky. Granted it is a great picture but it certainly could be much nicer if the sky here wasn’t all white. Again, this problem can be remedied by using Photoshop Elements.
